Union wines is the result of a joint partnership between winemaking legend Dr. Allan Jackson and sommelier, Andrew von Teichman. Dr Jackson is a co-founder of Vincor Canada, and the Jackson Triggs brand,
Generations is a virtual winery. They source grapes from Niagara grape growers and rent space at one of the regions most recognized VQA wineries. They produce have a unique VQA port-like product called Union Forte.
Winemaker: Dr. Allan Jackson Andrew von Teichman
Winemaking philosophy is to make high-value wines [VQA-only] that are balanced and have some complexity and linger on the palate, both of which I believe are very well achieved by blending different varietals together so there is a "taste-crescendo" happening. If a wine is not offering good value at its price point, I'm not interested in doing it. We source our grapes from contracted growers, most of whom I knew and trusted from my Jackson-Triggs days
