The Okanagan ~ Similkameen Trip 2015
We left our Langley home on Monday June 8th on a weeks road trip taking the Northern Cascade Highway in Washington State through the mountains and back into Canada at Osoyoos. We stayed over night in the historic town of Winthrop at the AbbeyCreek Inn, a very clean and friendly motel.
From Winthrop we travelled to Osoyoos situated at the southern end of the Okanagan. We enjoyed three nice days at the Coastal Hotel before going on to spend two days in Kelowna. We made the journey to Kelowna going along the east side of Skaha Lake. Going home through the Similkameen, we went along the west side of the lake. It had been quite awhile since we made that trip and really enjoyed catching up with established wineries and visiting the new ones.
