Road Trip 2015

Corcelettes Estate Winery

Who could resist the temptation to stop at Corcelettes Estate Winery, a Similkameen Valley success story. Charlie and Barbara Baessler immigrated to Canada from Switzerland and fell in love with the landscape of the  Similkameen Valley They started a small winery in Cawston. With growing success and new partners Diane and Gord Peters they moved on to bigger and better facilities in Keremeos.

We received a very warm welcome from Jesce. She guided us through the winery and hosted our wine tasting. A very charming and interesting lady. She was born as she puts it "In the Arctic" far northern Nunavut. Jesce will make your visit a pleasure to sure.

Look beyond the tractor, it is a putting green. You hit the ball from the cliff above near the winery to the green. It's a long walk down so I suggest you just stay and enjoy the wines.

The tasting experience was exceptional, we shared the experience with two (husband and wife) professors from Northern Okanagan College. Two fine wines that come to mind Trivium 2013 and 2013 Syrah.
