Over the years it has grown to be the most popular winery in the lower mainland. Since the beginning they have produce a very good Bacchus wine. Their 2014 Bacchus Reserve proved to be one of their best. I open 4 bottles this year. 95

What is even more amazing the quality of the wines coming from Sea Star under winemaker Ian Baker. The 2015 Ortega is Magnificent. A nice floral aroma and crisp, clean finish. hints of melon. 95

Pender IslandSea Star's 26 acre property is one of the most beautiful winery properties in British Columbia. The Salish Sea is a wonderful blend of Ortega and Siegerrebe, aromas of melon, grapefruit, peach, guava and herbs, all contributing to a clean and fresh flavour with a long finish. Sea Star cellar is quite impressive. 94

Their Pinot Grigio 2013 was delicious, fresh, spritzy flavours. Aromas of pear and citrus with a good finish. 94

Their Pinot Gris 2014 is one of many 5 star wines produced on the Golden Mile. The nose is very expressive giving off aromas of pineapple, white peach and pear. Nice tropical flavours with a lovely honey finish. 94

Two wines made our top picks this year 2015 Sauvignon Blanc and the Gewürztraminer 2014. They have a rather good cellar of wines. We suggest you drop by either location there have been renovations at both locations. The wines are made in the Okanagan.

Vineland, ON, L0R 2C0Tawse is a family-owned estate winery situated on the lower slopes of the Niagara Escarpment (Vineland Double Bench). Tawse Winery opened its doors in the spring of 2005. Blessed with a hillside terrain, our winery features a unique six-level, gravity-fed processing system. The winery is named after the owner Moray Tawse.
Their 2014 Sketches Riesling was the only one from their famous collection I was lucky enough to enjoy. A very aromatic wine with notes of honeysuckle, melon, guava and pineapple on the nose. These aromas are followed by ginger, minerality and meyer lemon on the palate.summer patio sweet wine
