Larch Hills Estate Winery

Larch Hills Winery is a small winery specializing in cool climate wines located south of Salmon Arm. Know for producing some very good Ortega wines.

Ex Nihilo Vineyards

Their 2014 Pinot Noir won Lieutenant Governor’s Awards for Excellence in British Columbia Wines

Lake countries first and most prestigious winery. George and Trudy Heiss started their winery in the 1970's and were leaders in establishing the BC Estate Winery program. The Heiss family is the only remaining "family" winery of the original estate wineries licensed in the early ´80's. The winery has a beautiful location on the slopes above the Okanagan Lake.

Church and State Coyote Bowl

Church and State actually has two locations the original been just outside of Victoria BC. They made a reputation for producing some of BC's best reds. Recognized as producing Canada’s best red wine six times since 2009

Lately their whites have been receiving acclaim.

Quint Ferreira Estate Winery

John and Maria Ferreira came to Canada from Portugal they purchased in 1979 as an orchard where they grew cherries, peaches and apples. After 20 years they convert the orchard to grape vines

Today the vineyard features varietals including Merlot, Chardonnay, Syrah, Viognier, Melbec and most recent Zinfandel and Petit Verdot. There son Michael is training to be a winemaker.

Silver Sage Winery

Silver Sage founders Anna and Victor Manola emigrated to the Okanagan from Romania 32 years ago. They purchased 25 acres of land near Oliver, BC, 1996 and with a lot of hard work, love, and passion, theyestablished vineyard. 

Anna carried on after the tragic death of Manola. She is the winemaker.

Camelot Vineyards Ltd.

3489 East Kelowna Road
Kelowna B.C.

Camelot Vineyards began as an orchard and was owned and operated by Ruth and the late Robert Young Senior. Today Robert Young jr. and his wife Denise operate the winery. Robert and Denise seized the opportunity to created a beautiful tasting room using the Medieval theme

Skimmerhorn Winery and Vineyards

Creston, B.C

Located in the the picturesque Creston Valley of British Columbia. After 20 years of successfully running a family orchard, Al and Marleen Hoag  took the plunge and opened a winery. The winery is named after the Skimmerhorn Mountains, part of the Purcell Mountain Range, which borders the eastern edge of the Creston Valley.

They won Gold for the 2015 Kootenay Crush White at the All Canadian 2016 among their numerous awards for 2016.


Beaumont Family Estate

Located in Westbank's Lakeside neighbourhood (near Quails' Gate and Mission Hill). The owners are former Albertans Alex and Louise Lubchynski.

They have systemically built up the total acreage (36 acres) of vineyards, starting in 1995. They investigated the best kinds of grapes to grow and embarked upon the more labour intensive organic farming methodology. They have been 100% certified organic since 1995 with the Similkameen Okanagan Organic Producers Association.

Cherry Point Estate Wines

840 Cherry Point Road
Cobble Hill, BC, V0R 1L3

The vineyard at Cherry Point was established a few miles south of Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island in 1990. Making them one of the first wineries in the region. They became well know for their wines especially their Ortega. The Ortega was a Double Gold Medal, All Canadian Wine Competition 2016.

The winery is owned by Xavier and Maria Clara Bonilla


Van Westen Vineyards

Robert Van Westen and family can trace their routes back over 50 years in the Naramata. He is know for producing some outstanding Reds over the years. Rob Van Westen has put his heart and sole into his winery. To say the least he was was over the moon when the results of the 2012 Canadian Wine Awards were announced. His winery came in eighth, with two gold medals, two silvers and one bronze. To under stand why he was elated. Van Westen Vineyard submitted only six wines, fewer than any of the other top 20 wineries in the competition.

Rollingdale Winery is a small farm gate winery located in Lakeview Heights, in West Kelowna. The winery is owned by Steve Dale, the winemaker and his wife Kristy Dale. Their passion for organic practices and producing quality wines inspired them to have their vineyard and cellar certified organic with PACS and COABC in 2007.

Howling Bluff Estate Winery

Pinot Noir is their signature. Honoured to have been bestowed three Lieutenant Governor Award for Excellence in BC Wines, distinguished as the Canadian Red Wine of the Year (2010), and awarded a silver medal from the Decanter World Wine Awards (2015)

Noble Ridge Vineyards and Winery

Jim and Leslie D’Andrea began their winery in 2001. When they purchased the property it had only 3.5 acre of vines. Since then they have planted an additional 18 acres and have grown their dream into an award winning winery. 

One can enjoy the beautiful grounds  overlooking Vaseux Lake.

They established The George Wilson Memorial South Okanagan College Bursary and aid others in the Okanagan


Colio Estate Wines

The 200 acres of Colio Estate Vineyards are located at a latitude similar to Northern California and the Tuscany region in Italy.

Carlo Negri, Master Winemaker, was Colio’s first winemaker, arriving from Italy in 1980, and was instrumental in the development of Colio’s winery, brands and reputation in the Ontario wine industry. He was a mentor to many, both within Colio and throughout the industry, always available to provide support and assistance to other winemakers, growers and winery leaders. D'Angelo Estate Winery

Sal D"Angelo started the winery located on the Lake Erie North Shore The winery established in 1983 takes pride in growing the best Vinifera and French Hybrid grapes in the area. The magnificent vineyard covers forty-two acres of the fifty-acre property.

Sal left to establish a second winery in BC with his son Salvatore taking over the Ontario winery


EastDell Estates

1067 Niagara Stone Road

Became one of Ontario best know wineries. It was among the first to introduce a restaurant. Their labels were also popular. Today the winery is owned by Diamond Estates. The wines are now produced at the Diamond facilities by winemakers Scott McGregor and Thomas Green

Daniel Lenko

The oldest Chardonnay vineyard in Ontario were planted in 1959 in Beamsville, and is owned by third generation grape grower Daniel Lenko.

In 1999 after farming with the family for 10 years Daniel Lenko took over the Lenko Vineyards and Daniel Lenko Estate Winery was born.  Helen, Daniel's mother, apple pies were a major attraction at the winery.

Long Dog Vineyard

Long Dog Vineyard and Winery in PEC, was conceived in 1999 by owners James Lahti, Steven Rapkin and Victoria Rose. Proud owners of two dachshunds gave them inspiration for the name of the winery.

They  began planting in 1999 and now have 25,000 vines over 20 acres. There are 11,000 Pinot Noir, 9,000 Chardonnay, 3,000 Pinot Gris and 2,000 Gamay. 

Palatine Hills Estate Winery

Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

As a prime location within the fruit belt, owners John and Barbara Neufeld saw immense potential in the contours of the land, imagining viniferous possibilities in the sloping terrain. The winery traces its history back over 40 years of growing grapes. The winery opened in 1993.

2003 Icewine received Wine of the Year honours at the Ontario Wine Awards.  In 2006, Palatine Hills Estate was named Canadian Icewine Producer of the Year.

Erie Shore Vineyards

410 County Rd 50 W,

Harvey and Alma Hollingshead planted their first vines in 1997. Located on the banks of Lake Erie and is one of Canada’s southernmost wineries.

They have produced some very memorial wines over the years.

Organized Crime

4043 Mountainview Road,

Located on the Beamsville Bench the name refers to a dispute between rival congregations of Mennonites near Beamsville, which resulted in one group stealing and destroying the other flock’s pipe organ. Situated on a picturesque parcel of land on the acclaimed Beamsville Bench, Organized Crime’s vista of gently rolling vineyards with the sparkling sapphire of Lake Ontario in the distance provides a very nice setting for the winery.

The winery is owned by two passionate wine growers Ania de Duleba and Jan  Tarasewicz

Cox Creek Cellars Inc.

Guelph ON

The winery construction started late July 1998 and was completed in time for the November 20, 1998 grand opening. The original owner was Mrs. Jerry Trochta 

Over the last 10 years Cox Creek Cellars has been awarded over 104 medals from North American competitions

Nova Scotia

Bear River Vineyards

133 Chute Road
Bear River, NS B0S 1B0

Located in the beautiful Bear River Valley near the south western end of the Annapolis Basin. The winery owned by Chris Hawes became the only licensed Cottage Winery in the Province of Nova Scotia in February 2006. Chris claims to be the smallest winery with only 3.6 acres planted over the last 12 years he began growing grapes in 1987.

Chris claims his vineyards were first planted in 1611

The winery was an early user of Solar power.

Jost Vineyards

The winery can trace its beginnings in Canada back to the 1970's opening their winery for visitors in 1984.

They established a solid reputation for good wines. Carl Sparkes purchased Jost Winery through his new company, Devonian Coast Wineries Ltd in May 2012.

The winery has over 100 acres. The facilities were fully redesigned and renovated in 2013, is rustic, yet elegant. A beautiful circular tasting bar, meant to resemble a large oak barrique, is the centre piece of our cathedral-ceilinged lounge.
