La Halte des Pèlerins

La Halte des Pèlerins is a family-run vineyard that offers its customers an exceptional cultural and sensory experience in the agritourism sector. It all began in 1998 with the planting of over 20,000 vines.

The winery is located five minutes from downtown Sherbrook claiming to be Quebec's only Urban winery. Sherbrooke is a city in southern Quebec, Canada. It is at the confluence of the Saint-François and Magog rivers in the heart of the Estrie administrative region. Owned by Jacques Chabot and Marco Corbin, the name of the winery translated is Pilgrims' stop.

They offers a wide range of five wines: Le Pèlerin (white), La Petite Chapelle (rosé), Le Sanctuaire (red), Le Miraculé (aperitif) and Le Confessionnal (fortified wine such as Port). The following year, L'Archange (ice wine) will be added to the range of products offered. Later, Le Graal, a red ice wine, Le Prestige, a top-of-the-range red wine, and Le Confessionnal Réserve (fortified port-style) were born.

The winery features two tasting rooms. This is a result in continuous customer traffic. La Halte des Pèlerins can boast of having been able to innovate in several areas, which has allowed it to experience enviable growth. In fact, it is one of the first Quebec vineyards to obtain a Protected Geographical Indication and Quebec certification for its wines, as well as the On s'engage en développement durable accreditation

One of the favourite activities at the winery for families is La Chasse au Trésor d'Alfé , a treasure hunt and interactive show Le Secret du géant ( The Giant Secret).

The winery harvest is done to music. You can experience their "Musical Harvest"
