Intrigue Wines is a small premium winery in the Okanagan Valley, located in Lake Country just north of Kelowna on the east side of Okanagan Lake.
The winery opened in 2009 is a combined adventure of Ross and
Geri Davis , winemaker Roger Wong and his wife Jillian.
The winery and vineyard is located near Wood Lake close to Oyma.
They began in 2008 planting 6.9 hectares mostly with Riesling
The winery is named Intrigue because there
is "something" about wine that can make us think about the vintage
year, the vineyard, the soil and the people who made it.
Intrigue Wines is a success story. It opened with 500 cases of wine. This year, it expects to produce 10,000 cases.
In 2015 Intrigue 2014 Pinot Gris won the Jerry Mead Award for Best Value Wine at the North West Wine Summit. There 2015 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay won Gold at 2016 Summit. The winery was given a The Lieutenant Governor’s Awards for Excellence in British Columbia Wines were established in 2015.
The winery has a lovely patio with amazing views of the lake. They host events through out the year.
For many years, Gray Monk, which opened in 1982, was the lone winery in Lake Country. Today, Lake Country’s seven wineries
