Nighthhawk Vineyards

The winery perched above the scenic Green Lake Valley and offers stunning views and a boutique winery experience. It near Vaseux Lake Provincial Park and just a few kilometers from the town of Okanagan Falls. The winery is owned by Daniel and Christy Bibby. Nighthawk Vineyards is a dream come true for Daniel and Christy Bibby, along with their sons Dakota is the winemaker and Carson.Dakota the winery chef.

The 10-acre vineyard is planted to three varieties: five acres of Gewürztraminer, three of Pinot Noir and two of Chardonnay. Some of the vines are 15 years old.

. The winery is named after the majestic birds found in the valley. The unique micro-climate of Okanagan Falls provides a rare habitat perfectly suited to these majestic birds, and some of the valley’s best grape growing conditions.

Immersing himself in the wine industry at a very young age, Dakota graduated from both the Viticulture and Winery Assistant programs at Okanagan College. He then spent the next six years working with local wineries of different sizes to round out his experience and wine making skills. Prior to taking over the full-time role in his family winery, Dakota spent a season with the renowned team at Stag’s Hollow in Okanagan Falls. Under winemaker Keira LeFranc, he refined his skills and the confidence to take Nighthawk Vineyards to the next level. After completing a beekeeping program, Dakota will now be tending bees on the estate as well as grapevines with plans to make honey and perhaps a mead in future.

Chef Carson runs the Vineyard Kitchen & Patio a culinary gem in the South Okanagan, offering a farm-to-table experience with breathtaking views and locally inspired dishes.
Taina joined our team as a culinary apprentice in the summer of 2022, and has quickly become a vital part of the Nighthawk family.

The winery features luxury tent accommodations.
