Miel Nature Inc., a Beauharnois, Quebec-based company known for its artisanal honey products and meads.
They've won over 457 medals for their honey creations, making them one of the most awarded couples in the field.
They both have obtained a Doctorate in food chemistry and a bachelor in food processing, Ali and Elena have spent 23 years studying and practising apiculture, you would have to say they are expertise on the subject. Their knowledge of bees, flowers and the honey-making process is nothing short of impressive, and is definitly reflected in the products.
The company was acquired in 2000 by Elena and Ali Agougou. At that time, the company produced only honey from a few dozen hives. Since then, The Agougous have transformed the business remarkably, by developing over 150 honey-based products and managing a bee yard of more than 800 hives.

Success means new facilities.
Ali and Elena craft their meads using premium-quality honey from their own beehives, which gives them a unique character. With 21 different meads to choose from, there’s something to suit every taste!
Their three children, Omar, Yazid, and Sonia, grew up within the business and have been actively involved in this beautiful family adventure from the very beginning.

They use what is known as the Cold_Pressed method.
Instead of using heat or high-speed centrifuges, cold-pressed honey is obtained by mechanically pressing the honeycomb. This gentle process ensures the honey remains at or near hive temperature (around 35–40°C), which is considered "cold" in honey processing terms.
Because it’s minimally processed, cold-pressed honey retains more pollen, antioxidants, and trace minerals compared to regular honey.
Miel Nature Inc.'s Signature Mead, also known as Signature Cuvée Réserve, is one of their standout honey wines. It is a sweet mead aged in oaked barrels
Their Pomme et miel won best Mead of the Year at the All Canadaians. Their dessert meads won Double Gold, Gold, Silver, and Bronze
