More than any other beverage across the world, wine fascinates,entices and seduces. Its history can be traced back over 8,000 years ago. Exploring Vikings coming to the shores of Canada named the land Vineland due the abundance of grapes and berries growing here.

 

Although most people outside of Canada associate the country with cold snowy winters. Canada does have its micro climates. After all it is the second largest country in the world extending from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and northward into the Arctic Ocean.  With thousands of lakes, and beautiful mountain valleys and Ocean coast line can has some very unique micro climates that produce outstanding wines.

Thanks to the hard work of dedicated winemakers, scientist, and passionate wine lovers, Canada continues to develop grapes that grow well in the various Micro climates across the country.
