The Trip 2015

The View

With only one wrong turn we manged to find our way to Kelowna's east side winery Th View. Know for its red shoe,charming ladies and wine. Kristy French is the winemaker, Jill Hansen the tasting room manger and owner Jennifer Turton-Molgat .

A quaint winery located in an old Cannery providing a great deal of charm.

Jill was our host leading us through our wine tasting.

Special events and tasting are held in the tank room. Ask Jennifer about her RED Shoe label.

The winery does have a few men working among them assistant winemaker Mike Anderson

One of the unique products produced by the winery is bling sold in can by the six pack. It is a sparkling wine. I was surprised by the number of people who dropped by to purchase a six pack.

We tasted a number of good wines including their popular Distraction Frizzante and the 2013 Hail Mary, named after a hail storm hit the vineyard.
