Matt Rademakers the wineries Viticulturist looks after the vineyards. His viticulture career began in 2003 in Wanaka, New Zealand. Arriving in Canada the following year he worked throughout the Okanagan and Vancouver Island before calling the bench his home. |
Scott Robinson is the winemaker. He began his career with a Masters in Oenology with Distinction from the University of Adelaide leading to multiple vintages in New Zealand, Australia and the Okanagan. |
Kari is a key member of the team at Little Engine Wines. She communicates with the wine club members. When Kari isn’t marketing wine, arranging weddings, fulfilling orders or sharing stories with customers; you might find her relaxing as she walks her dog Rhône along the KVR trail. |
Little Engine's philosophy begins in the vineyard with precise pruning, canopy management, and cluster thinning. We produce very low crop tonnage producing fruit with intense concentration. Hand selected fruit combined with minimally-invasive winemaking techniques allow for our wine’s pure expression. A combination of natural yeasts, gentle maceration, French oak barrels and attention to every detail, result in wines of depth, character, elegance and finish.
