Pearl Morissette Estate Winery, located in the town of Jordan, Ontario, is a unique partnership born in 2007 between Toronto-based developer, Mel Pearl and Burgundy trained vignernon, François Morissette.

François Morissette is classically trained, having worked on the Grand Cru terroirs of Frédéric Mugnier of Chambolle Musigny, Christian Gouges of Domaine Henri Gouges, and Jean-Marc of Domaine Roulot. Further oenological training was also undertaken at L’Université de Dijon. prefers the term vigneron not winemaker, a French word without English equivalent, referring to a person who guides the grapes along their journey from vine to bottle.

The winery farms their 19th Street Vineyard on the Twenty Mile Bench. It consists of 16.5 acres planted to Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Riesling, in 1999 and 2000

Strangley the winery does not have a retail shop or tasting room. It does howver have a restaurant. Offering one set menu of 8+ courses at $110 per person daily. In order to provide our guests with a curated experience from start to finish, we do not offer an a la carte menu.
