Welcome to Wines of Canada. This personal website was started in 1992. Wow we have been here for twenty years. Since then we have seem many changes in Canada's Wine industry and have grown almost as fast. In 1992 we were aware of just 28 wineries in Canada. There were more just small and unlisted. Today there are almost 700 wineries in Canada ranging from the small family operation to the massive million dollar estates owned by large companies. Our website is now the leading source of information on the Wines and Wineries of Canada.

It has been a fun journey for us. We have a passion for the wines and a love of the vineyard. Can there be anything more beautiful than a vineyard besides another vineyard.

To the best of our ability we have listed every winery from coast to coast complete with images and a description. They are listed by Province (see below). In British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec the wineries are listed by Appellation, and Alphabetically. The site contains a great deal of information from the history of Canada's wine industry, wine information in general, and of course her famous icewine. We are continually changing and upgrading the website, we are not a retailer, we do not provide advice on importing wines.

The website provides you with a complete experience from special features to the history of Canada's Wines. From the Wonders of Canada to learning about wines. We cover Fruit wines, meads and ciders, organic wines, Fortified wines and Canada's famous Icewines. We provide reviews of wines and feature articles like our Feature Winery page. We promote the wines, wineries and Tourism of our great land. Twenty years ago we began boasting about Canada's wines and our winemakers keep proving us correct.
