In our home the Red Wine connoisseur is my wife Barbara. I relay on her wonderful sense of smell and of course her good taste. Recently she got very excited about a wine we purchased on our Okanagan trip.

To me one of the most beautiful wineries in Canada, a winery I would like to own is Kraze Legz Vineyard and Winery home of Skaha Vineyards. The winery sits on the top of a hill overlooking the village of Kaleden.
The winery was closed the day we arrived arrived but owners Gerry and Susan Thygesen welcomed us with opened arms. They took us through an amazing tasting experience with a superb cellar of fine wines.
The one that excited my wife this time was the Skaha Vineyards - Impulsion 2016. Just how excited was she about this wine. Barbara placed an immediate order with the winery for another six bottles.
There is a very limited number of bottles of wine left at the winery. Apparently other people have also appreciated their wines.
Skaha Vineyards - Impulsion 2016
A very nice blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc. Featuring aromas of black cherry, raspberry and ripe plum. Followed by notes of creme brule, espresso and with dark
chocolate extending into the finish 96.
