The bottle I'm looking for is a beautiful Dark Blue glass with gold
lettering and a red canadian maple leaf on it. A bottle that holds
enough for 2 glasses of wine cost about 45.00CAN
do you have any idea who makes this so I can order a bottle?
The answer is
The laws regarding the sale of Canadian Icewine varies from country to country, state to state
province to province. I do not keep a record of which countries allow Canadian icewine imports.
In the USA it depends upon the state. I do not have the information as to what individual states have
Canadian icewine. I am unable to tell you what individual stores carry icewine.
I do not have a complete list of which wineries export their icewines
I have attempted to gather this information and record with the wineries listing.
Once again since a winery must apply to each state individually A winery
may be licensed in only certain states.
Supply
One also must remember that the supply of icewine is limited.
The juice from Icewine grapes is about one-fifth the amount you would normally get if you pressed unfrozen grapes. To put it another way, a vine will normally produce sufficient grapes to make a bottle of wine; but frozen grapes would produce only one glass of Icewine
