On a lovely summer's day my wife and I were joined by our good friends Ken and Jane as we visited the winery. We decided to forgo the usual tasting ritual and just relax with a bottle of wine (one red one white) on the patio.
The old dairy barn was converted into a barrel room
To reach the Patio one must walk through the barrel room.
A most beautiful landscape awaits.

Our wine section included a very good 2019 Merlot reserve and a nice 2020 Sauvignon Blanc. Everyone one agreed that the Merlot was an outstanding wine featuring flavours of blackberry, black cherry and plum fruit. The Sauvignon Blanc was also good featuring strong notes of Grapefruit. Vern says its his hobby but his winemaking skills exceed that!
