Located on 10 acres on the Beamsville beach of the Niagara Peninsula the winery was founded
by a group of wine loving friends on a property that was once owned by the congregation of Missionary Sisters
of Christian Charity in Ontario. In 1995, the land was converted into a vineyard, construction of the "mission
style" building began in June of 2001.
The state of the art wine making facility is built underground, the earth naturally keeps the cellars
cool. Grape receiving, crushing, and fermentation occurs in half of the underground facility, with the finished
product transferred to French and American oak for aging until it is ready for release The tasting room
features, along with their wines, the Angels Gate Tower, a 41-foot structure featuring a photo history of
the vineyards, and other educational displays .

Cairns Winery and Vineyard
The winery is located 5 kms west of the village of Wellington on the Loyalist Parkway/Highway 33 and has a wonderful collection of old barns
that form a new world “Clos” that transports visitors back to an earlier time. In fact, the parking lot is adjacent to the pioneer cemetery
where James Chadsey, Ira's grandfather was interred in 1809. The winery itself is established inside the stables that accommodated six teams
of draft horses.

Cave Spring Cellars - Jordan,On
Located on the Niagara Peninsula near the historical town of
Jordan. They have vineyards on the Beamsville Bench, rated as one of the best
micro-climates for the cultivation of Vinifera grapes. Cave Spring Cellars
was founded in 1986 by grape grower Leonard Pennachetti and winemaker Angelo
Pavan.
"At Cave Springs they believe that our wines are unique because they capture what
the French call 'Gout de Terroir'; or Taste of the Land from which they come;
and no amount of Artifice-Ecological or otherwise could ever replicate the particular
flavour profile they achieve. Almost half of their product is Riesling.
They have a reputation for producing excellent Riesling Icewine.
Coffin Ridge Estate Winery - Annan, ON

Colaneri Estate Winery - Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
Over thirty years ago the Conaneri family who immigrated from Italy acquired 40 acres of vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake. They began as growers producing their first vintage in 2008.
Mike, Nick and Betty Colaneri are the owners. The winery is located on the St. David's Bench. The magnificent and perhaps Ontario's largest winery was designed by Nick Colaneri
Cooper's Hawk Vineyards - Harrow, ON
Located on 67 acres of land just east of Harrow, Ontario, in the Essex Pelee Island Coast
Owed by the O'Brien and Meloche Families
The name comes from the numerous hawks that fly over the vineyard and their dad worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers who make wine barrels.
Commisso at Villa Bacchus Winery
The winery is owned by Frank Commisso. The name of the winery is based off of the owner’s last name, as well as his love of Italian wines. The inspiration is to create an Italian-influenced winery in the heart of Beamsville wine region.

Domaine Queylus - Saint Anns, ON
The winery is owned by twelve partners from Montreal; Co-managing partners: Gilles Chevalier & Gilles Bussiere. the adventure began in2007. After a study of the region, the first investors bought an orchard in Beamsville, on Mountain view Street, and converted the orchard to a vineyard.
Several samples of soil from 30 locations were collected and shipped to France for analysis. An analysis of the soil produced in Bordeaux demonstrated the exceptional quality of the terroir.
Featherstone Estate Vineyard and Winery - Vineland, On
Featherstone Estate Winery is owned and operated by David Johnson and Louise Engel, a
husband and wife team who have already gained fame in the Guelph area for their culinary expertise at the
Guelph Poultry Gourmet Market, which they established in 1986. They come to the wine industry from careers
dedicated to excellence in food and a passion for wine.
Flat Rock Cellars - Jordan, ON
Set into the side of a hill, the winery was cleverly designed as a gravity flow winery.
The winery is filled with technical innovations, including a geothermal heating and cooling system. At the
heart of this are 4,572 metres/15,000 feet of pipes snaking back and forth at the bottom of the small man-made
lake beside the winery. Heat exchangers give the winery the option of cooling wine tanks or heating the winery,
as required. The advantage is a green image and inexpensive climate control.

Paglione Estate Winery - Harrow, Ontario.
Paglione Estate Winery is nestled in 40 acres of land with 10 acres of vines along the shores of Lake Erie in the Essex Pelee Island Coast (EPIC) wine region in Harrow, Ontario. The winery is owned by Sam and Nancy Paglione. They produce wines in small batches, fermented with indigenous yeast using natural, old-world Italian methods.

Canada's Stratus Vineyards is the world's first winery
to be given the coveted LEED green certification. To qualify for the
LEED, Stratus set up features and practices such as composting all
plant waste materials, herbicide-free vineyards, energy-efficient electrical
and plumbing systems, and toxin-free waste-management systems. Stratus
also uses a hybrid, gas-electric vehicle for winery deliveries. The
winery was also designed for making wine using the gravity-flow method.
