Angels Gate- Beamsville, Ontario

Located on 10 acres on the Beamsville beach of the Niagara Peninsula the winery was founded by a group of wine loving friends on a property that was once owned by the congregation of Missionary Sisters of Christian Charity in Ontario. In 1995, the land was converted into a vineyard, construction of the "mission style" building began in June of 2001.

The state of the art wine making facility is built underground, the earth naturally keeps the cellars cool. Grape receiving, crushing, and fermentation occurs in half of the underground facility, with the finished product transferred to French and American oak for aging until it is ready for release The tasting room features, along with their wines, the Angels Gate Tower, a 41-foot structure featuring a photo history of the vineyards, and other educational displays .

The winery is located 5 kms west of the village of Wellington on the Loyalist Parkway/Highway 33 and has a wonderful collection of old barns that form a new world “Clos” that transports visitors back to an earlier time. In fact, the parking lot is adjacent to the pioneer cemetery where James Chadsey, Ira's grandfather was interred in 1809. The winery itself is established inside the stables that accommodated six teams of draft horses.

Chateau des Charmes -Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario

Cave Spring Cellars - Jordan,On

Located on the Niagara Peninsula near the historical town of Jordan. They have vineyards on the Beamsville Bench, rated as one of the best micro-climates for the cultivation of Vinifera grapes. Cave Spring Cellars was founded in 1986 by grape grower Leonard Pennachetti and winemaker Angelo Pavan. "At Cave Springs they believe that our wines are unique because they capture what the French call 'Gout de Terroir'; or Taste of the Land from which they come; and no amount of Artifice-Ecological or otherwise could ever replicate the particular flavour profile they achieve. Almost half of their product is Riesling. They have a reputation for producing excellent Riesling Icewine.

Coffin Ridge Estate Winery -  Annan, ON

The boutique winery overlooks the crystal blue water of Georgian Bay. In the shadow of the Niagara Escarpment sits Grey County's first winery, Coffin Ridge. They small batch wine made primarily from grapes grown from hand planted, hand picked Grey County grapes. Colaneri Estate Winery - Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Over thirty years ago the Conaneri family who immigrated from Italy acquired 40 acres of vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake. They began as growers producing their first vintage in 2008. Mike, Nick and Betty Colaneri are the owners. The winery is located on the St. David's Bench. The magnificent and perhaps Ontario's largest winery was designed by Nick Colaneri

Cooper's Hawk Vineyards - Harrow, ON

Located on 67 acres of land just east of Harrow, Ontario, in the Essex Pelee Island Coast Owed by the O'Brien and Meloche Families The name comes from the numerous hawks that fly over the vineyard and their dad worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers who make wine barrels.

Commisso at Villa Bacchus Winery

The winery is owned by Frank Commisso. The name of the winery is based off of the owner’s last name, as well as his love of Italian wines. The inspiration is to create an Italian-influenced winery in the heart of Beamsville wine region.

Dark Horse Estate Winery -Grand Bend, ON 

John Rasenberg combined his passion for farming, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and the dark, rich, loamy soil of his beloved Huron County to build an agri-tourism destination winery that he hopes would engage and delight visitors from around the world.

Domaine Queylus -  Saint Anns, ON

The winery is owned by twelve partners from Montreal; Co-managing partners: Gilles Chevalier & Gilles Bussiere. the adventure began in2007. After a study of the region, the first investors bought an orchard in Beamsville, on Mountain view Street, and converted the orchard to a vineyard. Several samples of soil from 30 locations were collected and shipped to France for analysis. An analysis of the soil produced in Bordeaux demonstrated the exceptional quality of the terroir.

Featherstone Estate Vineyard and Winery - Vineland, On

Featherstone Estate Winery is owned and operated by David Johnson and Louise Engel, a husband and wife team who have already gained fame in the Guelph area for their culinary expertise at the Guelph Poultry Gourmet Market, which they established in 1986. They come to the wine industry from careers dedicated to excellence in food and a passion for wine.

Flat Rock Cellars - Jordan, ON

Set into the side of a hill, the winery was cleverly designed as a gravity flow winery. The winery is filled with technical innovations, including a geothermal heating and cooling system. At the heart of this are 4,572 metres/15,000 feet of pipes snaking back and forth at the bottom of the small man-made lake beside the winery. Heat exchangers give the winery the option of cooling wine tanks or heating the winery, as required. The advantage is a green image and inexpensive climate control.

Kacaba Vineyards - Vineland, Ontario

Located on prime grape growing acreage on the Niagara Escarpment Bench in Vineland. Michael Kacaba was able to purchase the property in 1997 and immediately set to work in planting his vineyard.

 Kacaba Vineyards 2007 Meritage was presented with the award Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Ontario Wines.

Konzelmann Estate Winery - Niagara-on-the-Lake

The Konzelmann family first established a winery in Germany in 1893. Today more than 100 years later, Herbert Konzelmann continues the tradition in Niagara-on-the-Lake, produces wines that represent the culmination of four generations of penology. According to Herbert the morning dew that settles on the grapes gives his wine a uniquely delicate and fruity taste.

Lakeview Wine co- Niagara-on-the-Lake

The Niagara - on- the - Lake wine company founders Andrew Green and Murray Marshall started in 2000. They began by purchasing two small wineries Lakeview Cellars & Birchwood Estates.

Lundy Manor

Located in Niagara Falls, about 26km south of Niagara -on- the Lake. The Chateau was originally built has a residence but was purchased by a group (unknown) to establish a winery. Their purpose is to establish a winery know for its wines, events, the place to go. They have a 53 acre vineyard.

Paglione Estate Winery - Harrow, Ontario.

Paglione Estate Winery is nestled in 40 acres of land with 10 acres of vines along the shores of Lake Erie in the Essex Pelee Island Coast (EPIC) wine region in Harrow, Ontario. The winery is owned by Sam and Nancy Paglione. They produce wines in small batches, fermented with indigenous yeast using natural, old-world Italian methods.

Peller Estates Winery -Niagara-on-the-Lake

More than twenty-five years ago, this European winemaker traveled to the Niagara Peninsula with the dream to create premium quality wines in Canada, wines that would proudly bear his family name. These would be wines that could proudly bear his family name and that could rival any wine grown in any region of North America. Andrew Peller's knowledge and experience as a maker of fine wines told him that the best wines invariably start with excellent grapes. He eventually settled into the Niagara Peninsula which provided the perfect location for growing these excellent wine grapes. As time passed, Andrew's son Joseph and grandson John continued to pursue his dream.

Peninsula Ridge - Beamsville, On

Peninsula Ridge is part of the Beamsville Bench: The 'bench' occupies a narrow strip of land with vineyards clinging to its slopes. Warm days, cool nights and deep soils help to shape the character of our wines. With over 85 acres of vineyards, Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery is producing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling all on the property.

Ravine Vineyards - St. Davids, ON

Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery is biodynamic and organic winery Ravine opened in 2008. The winery is owned by the Harber family. Also known as the Upper Lowrey Farm, the family has milled, farmed and canned fruit at Ravine for 5 generations. The farm is known to be one of the first commercial grape vineyards in the area with 500 vines planted in 1869.

Rosewood Winery - Beamsville, ON

Rosewood Estates Winery is Niagara's first winery and meadery. The Rosewood story begins over 80 years ago when R.W. Roman’s passion for beekeeping and mead began as a teenager in Ukraine. After arriving in Canada, he continued keeping bees alongside his son, Eugene Roman, who quickly fell in love with the craft. Years later, during Eugene & Renata’s honeymoon to Niagara-on-the-Lake, the two fell in love with the region for its natural beauty, people and wines. Here the concept of Rosewood began, as Eugene promised his new wife that one day he would build a winery with her. After years of planning, planting and a decade of harvests, our team is made up of a diverse group of talented and passionate wine-loving individuals.

Sprucewood Shores - Harrow, ON

Ontario's only beach front winery. The dream of Gord Mitchell (President), his wife Hannah (CFO ) came true as they opened the doors to their winery in December 2006. Stratus Vineyards - Niagara - on -the Lake

The Stratus vineyard is a mature fifty-three acre estate moderated by the effects of two bodies of water: the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. Benefiting from a unique mesoclimate, the vineyard ranks among the warmest sites in Niagara Their vineyard is planted partially with Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The vineyard's main varieties will be clones of Bordeaux and Rhone

Canada's Stratus Vineyards is the world's first winery to be given the coveted LEED green certification. To qualify for the LEED, Stratus set up features and practices such as composting all plant waste materials, herbicide-free vineyards, energy-efficient electrical and plumbing systems, and toxin-free waste-management systems. Stratus also uses a hybrid, gas-electric vehicle for winery deliveries. The winery was also designed for making wine using the gravity-flow method.

Two Sisters Vineyards - Niagara-on-the-Lake

The winery is owned by two sisters Melissa Marotta-Paolicelli and Angela Marotta between them they have seven children. The property has a total of 76 acres and all the reds are estate grown.  They are Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot

Vineland Estate Winery - Vineland, Ontario

Located on the Niagara Peninsula Vineland is one of Ontario's oldest most picturesque wineries. Vineland Estates Winery produces 47,000 cases of wine annually, the majority of which is made from estate grown fruit. Their wines include Sparkling and Icewines. They have a very popular restaurant

Waupoos Estate Winery- Waupoos, Ontario

Ed Neuser and Rita Kaimins opened their winery in 2001 the first all grape winery in the region.
They named the winery after the local village. The winery has a beautiful lakeside restaurant that is fully licensed. Reservations are required.  20 acre vineyard has grown with new plantings of Shiraz grapes, Gewürztraminer grapes, and Gamay Noir grapes. They have have an apple and peach orchard, a modest citrus grove and a vast sugar bush, where we tap 1,500 maple trees to produce our own Maple Syru
