Discovery Islands a.k.a. the Northern Gulf Islands. This spectacular archipelago is located between Campbell River , on North Central Vancouver Island and mainland British Columbia on the west coast of Canada. The breathtaking fjords of Toba Inlet and Bute Inlet which cleave up to 80 km (50 miles) into the British Columbia, Coast Range mountains are also part of this supernatural region. The islands are Quadra Island , Cortes Island , Read Island, Maurelle Island, Sonora Island Stuart Island, East and West Redonda Islands, the Rendezvous Islands and East and West Thurlow Islands

Quadra Island is the most populated. Quadra is home to many talented artisans, and shopping for original art is an enjoyable way to become more familiar with the island. Currently there is one Winery on the Island
